This week on Coastal Cuisine, we stopped by Papa Grande’s Mexican Taqueria. One of the SoDel Concepts’ Delaware coast eateries, the popular restaurant is located at 210 2nd Street in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We sat down with General Manager Mike Zygmonski and chatted about their authentic Mexican cuisine with a “local twist.”

Like many of the SoDel Concepts’ restaurants, Papa Grande’s was the brainchild of the late, great local restaurateur Matt Haley. Decorated with original works of art from Haley’s personal collection that reflect the Mexican culture and cuisine, the restaurant also features a small, yet inviting, bar and what may arguably be one of the best roof-top decks in town weather permitting.
